Awat Oil and Gas Company is an Iranian oil and gas company, which operates as a subsidiary of the National Company for Southern Oilfields in the field of production, processing and transportation of crude oil and natural gas, as well as the production of gas condensate. Karun Oil and Gas Company was established in 1998 and now (2016), with an average production of one million barrels of crude oil per day, is the largest oil exploiting and producing company in Iran, a subsidiary of the National Company for Southern Oilfields.
